Banco BPM (BAMI.MI), opens new tab on Tuesday raised its earnings and shareholder remuneration guidance for the year, after joining peers in posting higher-than-expected second quarter earnings.
Italy’s third-largest bank said it expected earnings per share (EPS) of 95 euro cents in 2024 raising an earlier EPS forecast of 90 euro cents.
It plans to pay an interim dividend of 600 million euros over 2024 results, or half of the overall dividend payments expected for the year, versus 550 million previously.
